Every now and then we see a spectacular sunset or cloud formation, and I must admit that in former times I used to miss photographing them as I was never any good at being ready with a camera. These days, I do try to capture the beautiful things around me as it gives me so much pleasure to look at them afterwards.
Once the moment is gone, it’s gone, and to capture it on film or video is a way to preserve the beauty of nature as it happened. More and more these days, I am aware of my surroundings, taking in things which years ago, when I was young, I never really noticed. I think this is a thing which comes with age, that you appreciate what’s going on around you and to be mindful of our beautiful planet.
